1, Structure and Materials
Main material: 304 or 316L stainless steel is usually used, which has good corrosion resistance and hygiene performance, and can meet strict hygiene standards.
Sealing materials: Common sealing materials include EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber), VMQ (silicone rubber), FPM (fluororubber), etc. These materials have different temperature resistance ranges and chemical compatibility, and can be selected according to specific working conditions.
Surface treatment: The outer surface roughness is usually Ra16~32 μ in, and the inner surface roughness is Ra32~64 μ in. This fine surface treatment helps reduce bacterial growth and facilitates cleaning and disinfection.
2, Working principle
Pneumatic drive: The actuator is driven by compressed air. When compressed air is provided, the actuator will push the valve to open or close.
Spring reset: Many sanitary grade pneumatic actuators adopt a spring reset design. When the gas source is cut off or loses pressure, the built-in spring will automatically restore the actuator to its initial position. This design ensures that the valve can automatically close or open in case of gas source failure or emergency, thereby improving the safety of the system.
Double acting and single acting: According to the working mode, pneumatic actuators are divided into two types: Double acting and Spring Return.
